• The UG B.Sc. General Course has been offered since the department's founding in 1966.
• The UG B.Sc. Honours Course has been available since 1981, catering to students seeking advanced mathematical education.
• With the introduction of the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS) in 2017, the department began offering a more flexible UG Three Years B.Sc. Course with both Major and Minor subjects.
• Starting from 2023, the department introduced the UG Four Years B.Sc. Course under the National Curriculum Framework (NCCF), aligning with the latest educational reforms.

Infrastructure of the Department

Wi-Fi connectivity is available throughout the campus, including within the department, ensuring easy access to online resources. Additionally, a projector is available in the classrooms to enhance the learning experience through visual presentations and interactive sessions.

During the COVID-19 period, the department adapted to digital teaching by utilizing Google Classroom for homework submissions and continuous evaluations. Virtual classes were conducted via Google Meet, and various WhatsApp groups were created to maintain smooth communication with students, ensuring their academic progress was uninterrupted.

This blend of physical and digital infrastructure enables the department to provide a robust and flexible learning environment for its students.

Departmental Seminars and Workshop

The department regularly organizes student seminars each semester as part of our continuous evaluation process. Certificates and a Best Presentation Award are given to recognize outstanding presentations. Additionally, a wall magazine is published annually, where students actively contribute by writing on subject-oriented topics.
