We have the pleasure to inform all concerned that Dinhata College has recognized NSS activities as an extra curriculum activity for the Students. The various regular activities of the NSS like Health Awareness Programmes, Environment Awareness Programmes, Tree Plantation Programmes, Free Health Check-up Camps, Health Survey Programmes, Awareness Programme on Fire Safety, Save Girl Child Programme, Encephalitis Awareness camp, Cleaning Drives, Gardening Programmes, Observance of International Yoga Day etc. as well as observance of different days of National Importance have taken place in view of enlightening the students in different segments of life and helping them get established in life as socially aware and responsible citizens. At present the enrolled strength of NSS volunteers at the institution is 250. These volunteers have registered themselves in two units.
